Obituary of Mary Louis Bodziony

Louis Bodziony, age 66, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Katie Manor in Pilot Grove, Missouri Louis was born June 21, 1943, in San Angelo, Texas a daughter to Carl and Mary (Hoover) Arnett. Louis spent her childhood in Green Ridge, Missouri. She moved to the Kansas City area and raised four children, Robert Wooley, of Kansas City, Missouri, Dawn Houston of Kansas City, Missouri, Andrew Harris of Windsor, Missouri and Brent Harris of Lawson, Missouri. She married Joseph Bodziony on January 31, 1980. Louis worked for Gashland Presbyterian Church for twenty two years as a church secretary. She retired in May of 2005 and moved with her husband to the Lake of the Ozarks. They attended the First Baptist Church of Sunrise Beach and later joined and are presently going to Camdenton United Methodist Church in Camdenton. Louis loved to sew and cook and be active in church activities. She had many blue ribbons from the Missouri State Fair for canning and baking. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved to spend time with her seven grandchildren, Brandon and Lauren Chavez, Marissa and Cole Houston, Robbie and Hannah Wooley and Jackie Harris. Louis was diagnosed with Picks, a form of dementia in 2007. She lived for over two years with this horrible disease, of which there is no cure. �She was a brave woman, whom on the way home from the doctor�s office, after being told of what had struck her, told me that she would get to heaven before me.� She later told her friends that she wanted to get through this disease as quickly as possible so she could be with Jesus. Louis will be missed dearly by her friends and family, which includes a brother, Carl Arnett from LaMonte, Missouri and a sister Elizabeth Johnston from Glendale, Arizona.
