Obituary of Floyd W. Sanders

Floyd W. Sanders, age 56, of Macks Creek, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at his residence in Macks Creek. Floyd was born July 3, 1953, in Tacoma, Washington, a son to Loyd and Violet (Ice) Sanders. Floyd joined the United States Navy, and proudly served his country during the Viet-Nam War. He served aboard the aircraft carrier, USS Roosevelt. He was united in marriage to Kimberly Depper on March 24, 2007, in Macks Creek, Missouri. Floyd graduated with the class of 1971 from Stoutland High School. He had worked as a Bailiff with the Laclede County Sheriff�s Department, and the Camden County Sheriff�s Department. Most recently he worked for the Camdenton Police Department. Floyd professed the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and had attended Macks Creek Baptist Church in Macks Creek, Missouri. Floyd is survived by his wife, Kimberly, of the home; four daughters, Jamie Scott and husband Brandon, of Macks Creek, Missouri, Amanda Sanders of Lebanon, Missouri, Angel Fox of Macks Creek, Missouri and Dawn M. Slavens and husband Scotty of Lebanon, Missouri; four sons, Andrew Newcomb, and his fianc�e, Ria Earp, of Camdenton, Missouri, Dusty Hodges, and wife, Lauren, of Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, Shawn M. Sanders, and wife, Michelle, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Richard Newcomb, and wife, Stevie, of Camdenton, Missouri; eighteen grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd Sanders, and wife, Mary, of Richland, Missouri, and Steven R. Sanders, and wife, Marion, of Avondale, Louisiana, along with several other relatives and friends. Floyd will be sorely missed by his friends and his family.
