Obituary of Myrene M. Moulder

Myrene Marie (Arnhold) Moulder, age 90, a long time resident of Camden County, recently of Garden City, Missouri, was born January 23, 1920 at the family farm on the Little Niangua River near Climax Springs, Missouri. Myrene was the second daughter of Emil A. and Berniece (Pennell) Arnhold. Myrene departed her earthly life at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 5, 2010, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Overland Park, Kansas. She is now with her Heavenly Father. After graduating from Climax Springs High School in 1937, she enrolled in Beauty College at Springfield, Missouri. Upon graduation, she worked as a beautician at Versailles, Macks Creek, and Climax Springs for a short period of time. On October 11, 1941, she was united in marriage to Gerald K. Moulder and to this union two sons were born, Kenneth Aaron and Gary Michael. Myrene was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Martha Kelly and Wadine Franklin. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Gerald, of the home; two sons, Kenneth and wife Glenna Moulder of Archie, Missouri and Gary and wife Karen Moulder of Lee�s Summit, Missouri; five grandchildren, Lisa and husband Jeff Houghton, of Katy, Texas, Todd and wife Trisha Moulder of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Eric Moulder of Prairie Village, Kansas, Erin and husband Aaron Dunn of Blue Springs, Missouri, and Allicia and husband George Girvan of Zionsville, Indiana; eight great-grandchildren, Trevor and Elliott Houghton, Riley and Kara Moulder, Tyler and Lilly Dunn and Caleb and Joshua Girvan; one sister, Phyllis and husband Cecil Saulsbury of Kansas City, Missouri; a brother-in-law, Garrett and wife Edna Lee Moulder of Camdenton, Missouri, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Myrene was a devoted Christian, receiving Christ as her Savior at an early age at Bannister Baptist Church. She was currently a member of First Baptist Church in Macks Creek. Myrene never missed an opportunity to witness her love for the Lord Jesus to her family, especially grandchildren and great grandchildren.
