Obituary of CW Kinney

Carrol Wilbur �CW� Kinney, age 83, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday , March 16, 2010 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. CW was born January 23, 1927, in Branch, Missouri, (twin of Bill Kinney), a son to Joseph and Rebecca (Nations) Kinney CW joined the United States Army, and proudly served his country during World War II. He was united in marriage to Bertha Webster, on August 12, 1947, and together they had shared the past 62 years. CW and Bertha had five children. CW worked for and retired from General Motors after thirty years of employment there. He worked as a former Animal Control Officer for the City of Camdenton. CW loved to hunt and fish, as well as gardening. He also enjoyed attending church. CW professed the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age, and attended First Baptist Church of Camdenton. CW is survived by his wife, Bertha, of the home; sons, Richard Kinney, and his wife, Mary, of Macks Creek, Missouri, and Hurley Kinney, and his wife, Stacy, of Eldon, Missouri; one daughter, Carol Kinney, of Kansas City, Kansas; brothers, Joseph Kinney, and his wife, Ruby, of Macks Creek, Missouri, and Carl (Bill) Kinney, of Texas; one sister, Nadine Overton, of Kansas City, Kansas; grandchildren, Billy Kenny, Kelly Kenny, Becky Kinney, Jesse Ryan Kenny, and Kyle Thomas Kinney, along with several other relatives and many friends. CW was preceded in death by his parents, and two sons, John and Dirk.
