Obituary of Vurlla Mae Lynn

Vurlla Mae Lynn, age 68, of Cross Timbers, Missouri, formerly of Linn Creek, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2009, at her residence in Cross Timbers. Vurlla was born December 13, 1941, in Lebanon, Missouri, a daughter to Leslie and Lena (Cotterman) Burch. She was united in marriage on December 19, 1959 in Osceola, Missouri, to Grover Edward Lynn, who preceded her in death on September 17, 2005. Vurlla worked for Tan-Tara Resort in the housekeeping department for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, flower gardening, traveling, and riding motorcycles. Vurlla was a long time member of Linn Creek Baptist Church in Linn Creek, Missouri. She is survived by her children; Grover Lynn, Jr., and his wife, Eugenia of Cross Timbers, Missouri, Lena Hunsaker, and her husband, Allen, of Lebanon, Missouri , Lisa Pemberton, of Cross Timbers, Missouri, Roy Lynn, and his wife, Vicky, of Cross Timbers, Missouri, Leah Rinehart, of Cross Timbers, Missouri, Kathy Todd, and her husband, James, of Cross Timbers, Missouri, James Lynn, and his wife, Brandi, of Osage Beach, Missouri, and Mirtie Hanson, of Cross Timbers, Missouri; twenty six grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren, along with several other relatives and friends.. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Grover Edward Lynn, and two brothers.
