Obituary of Donald Bate Desirey
Donald �Don� Bate Desirey, age 82, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Donald was born November 13, 1927, in Nashville, Tennessee, a son to Michael and Grace Thompson Desirey.
Don was united in marriage to Rita Fulton, on September 29, 1951, and to this union six children were born.
Don had proudly served his country in the United States Navy. More recently, Don was a consultant for Four Seasons Realty, up until the time of his passing. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, playing cards, gambling, and horseracing. He also enjoyed bowling, and had scored two 300 games. Don was also an avid golfer, and had hit a hole in one. He enjoyed fine cigars and always had one with him.
Don was a member of Our Lady Of The Lake Catholic Church, in Lake Ozark, Missouri.
Don is survived by his daughters, Rene� Belford, and husband, Tim, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kim Willret, and husband, Gill, of Lebanon, Missouri, Terry Howerton, of Lake Ozark, Missouri and Kelly Acosta, and husband, Stewart, of Springfield, Missouri; two sons, Michael, and his wife, Julie, of Weldon Springs, Missouri, and Richard, and his wife, Cindy, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Delores and Teresa, along with many other relatives and friends.
