Obituary of Scott Daniel Stegall

Scott Daniel Stegall, age 19, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, departed this life on April 20, 2010, at his residence, in Lake Ozark, Missouri. Scott was born May 11, 1990 in Monroe, Louisiana to Jeff Stegall and Paula Hawken. On June 10, 2001 Scotty gave his life to Jesus Christ. He moved to Lake Ozark, Missouri in 2002 and graduated from Osage High School in 2008. He attended Missouri State University until December 2009. On April 20, 2010, our sweet angel went to heaven to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. Scotty had a love of music and would travel long distances to see some of his favorite bands and singers, including Paul McCartney. Scotty was passionate about his guitars and would stay up most of the night playing his guitars or gaming. He loved to spend much of his time with his dear friends at Replay, gaming throughout the night. Scotty always had something funny to say or some off the wall joke to tell. Scotty loved playing games with his family, especially Oh Heck. Over the years Scotty picked up many different nicknames, such as: Scott Whot, Scotty Man, Bubba, Goggie, Scotticus, Scotty Doesn�t Know, Scottypants and Scotty too Hotty. He had a way of bringing joy to those around him. His smile was contagious. And when he smiled that big beautiful smile, you couldn�t help but to fall in love with him. Scotty was loved by all who knew him. We will miss him terribly but because of the promise and hope we have in Christ, we know we will see him again. Scott is survived by his mother, Virginia (Paula) Hawken, and her husband, James, of Lake Ozark, Missouri; his father, Jeffrey Stegall, and his wife, T.C., of the state of California; his brother, Jeffrey Keith Stegall, of Fulton, Missouri; his step-brother, David Hawken, and his wife, Lyndee, of Ozark, Missouri; his half-sister, Addey Stegall, and half-sister, Peanut Stegall, both of California, his step-sister, Laura Craig, and her husband, Justin, of Springfield, Missouri; his grandparents, Paul Solice, and his wife, Betty, of Monroe, Louisiana, and grandparents, Larry Stegall, and his wife, Gloria, of Farmerville, Louisiana; his step-grandparent, Corrine Hawken, along with several other relatives and many friends.
