Obituary of Glenn Edward Strange

Glenn Edward Strange, age 78, of Eldon, Missouri, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Glenn was born February 14, 1932, in Eldon, Missouri, a son to Henry L and Rebecca Conner Strange. Glenn had proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1953. More recently, Glenn was a sprinkler fitter with Fire Alarm Systems. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, bow hunting, playing pool, and camping. He especially enjoyed time spent doing family activities. Glenn is survived by his daughter, Glenda Strange, of Eldon; three sons, Roger D Hudson and his wife Gerry of Eldon, Destry E. Strange of Eldon, and Donald W. Strange of Eldon; one sister, Lorraine Anderson of Lebanon, Missouri; two brothers, Forrest Strange and his wife, Ruth, of Virginia, and Jerry Strange and his wife, Katherine of Eldon; five grandchildren, Shawn Strange, Sarah Hudson, Tracee Strange, Michlee Strange and Veinessa Strange; five great grandchildren; his ex wife, Dorthey Strange, of Osage Beach, along with many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at 4:00 p.m., at Hedges Scott Funeral Home, Osage Beach, Missouri. Full Military Honors will be handled by Zach Wheat Post 624, Sunrise Beach, Missouri.
