Obituary of Candyce S. Jones

Candy Jones, age 64, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Monday, May 4, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois. She was born June 5, 1945, in Des Moines, Iowa, a daughter to James and Marjorie (Henry) Dale. Candy grew up in Elk Grove Village, Illinois before moving to Missouri and then worked for many years at Tan Tar-A-Resort as the switchboard supervisor before retiring. Candy was very active in the Linn Creek/Osage Beach Lions Club and enjoyed being with her family and friends. She loved crafting and was very creative. Candy crocheted hundreds of baby hats and booties and donated them to Lake Ozark Regional Hospital Auxiliary. Candy enjoyed her home and cooking for her family get- togethers. Candy is survived by her brother, James Dale and his wife Becky of Eldon, Missouri; sister Sharon Vinci of Eldon, Missouri, nephew Jimmy Dale and his wife Bridget and niece Amanda Dale, and one great niece, Alyssa Dale; along with many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Marjorie Dale, one nephew Ronnie Dale.
