Obituary of John Curtis Hix

John Curtis Hix entered this world on January 8, 1986. The son of Johnny and Cindy (Jasper) Hix. He departed this life on May 5, 2010 at his family home in Macks Creek, Missouri at the age of 24 years 3 months and 27 days. Curtis grew up in Macks Creek where he attended school. After graduation in 2004 Curtis went to work full time for Johnny Hix Landscaping. On September 13, 2008 Curtis married the love of his life Amie Thomas of Camdenton and they began building their life together. On August 5, 2009 they were blessed with a son John Braxdin Hix. Braxdin without a doubt was the highlight of Curtis�s life. Being a husband and Dad meant EVERYTHING to him. Curtis loved to hunt, do mechanic work and tinker on his farm. His favorite pastime was riding Braxdin on his XRT, visiting neighbors and spending family time outdoors. He was preceded in death by his maternal Grandparents Arley and Eula Jasper. Curtis is survived by his wife, Amie and son Braxdin of the home. His mother, Cindy Jasper and Eldon Stoner of Macks Creek, his father, Johnny and Nora Hix, of Macks Creek, Father�in-law and mother �in-law Gene and Karen Thomas of Camdenton, three sisters Joni Lane and her husband Josh, nephews Hunter, Hudson and Hadley of Warsaw, Juli and Jaci Hix of Macks Creek, Paternal grandparent Jay and Bessie May Hix also Donald and Thelma Bishop all of Macks Creek. Great Grandmother Eunice Webster, other relatives and friends. Curtis was blessed with a way of making people laugh. He was a loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, friend and neighbor and will be missed by all who knew him.
