Obituary of Eunice Parks

Eunice Parks, age 86, of Macks Creek, Missouri, departed this life on Friday, May 7, 2010, at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. Eunice was born March 18, 1924, in Macks Creek, Missouri, the daughter of John T. and Sarah F. (Eidson) Nashon. Eunice was united in marriage to James H. Parks, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas in 1950. She was a homemaker, and among her many interests, enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading, playing bingo, doing puzzles, fishing, and crocheting. Eunice is survived by sons, Gary L. Carnahan, and wife Clydith, of Napolin, Missouri, Larry W. Carnahan, and wife Gina, of Oak Grove, Missouri, J.D. Parks, and wife Connie of Montreal, Missouri, and Chester Parks of Macks Creek, Missouri; daughter Cherri Hicks, and husband Richard, of Macks Creek, Missouri; nineteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, along with several other relatives and friends. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James H. Parks; one son, Roger D. Parks; one daughter, Frances E. Newman, and four brothers.
