Obituary of Eugene Weppner
Eugene Weppner, 77, of Lake Ozark, Mo., passed away Wednesday morning, May 26, 2010, at his home.
He was born September 8, 1932, in St. Louis, Mo., the youngest son of Carl and Frieda (Waldorf) Weppner.
He served in the United States Air Force for four years, earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. He received an honorable discharge from the service.
He was a long time resident of Lake Ozark and was self-employed in construction work.
He is survived by his wife, Clara (Fischer) Weppner of Lake Ozark, Mo.; two sons, Robert Weppner of Lake Ozark, Mo., Dale (Katie) Weppner of St. Louis, Mo., and Janet Bundy (Fiancee of the late David Weppner) of Eldon, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Mickie Weppner of Omaha, Neb., Stevie (Weppner) of Linn Creek, Mo., Cory Weppner of Osage Beach, Mo., Jesse Ponder of Eldon, Mo., Stephanie Weppner of Porte St. Lucie, Fla., Elisabeth Weppner of St. Louis, Mo., and Nicholas Weppner of St. Louis, Mo.; five great grandchildren, a brother, Orville (Rose) Weppner of Arnold, Mo., a sister, Norma Troutman of Houston, Mo., two brothers-in-law, Aloysius Fischer of Mount Clemens, Mich., and Warren (Sandra) Fischer of House Springs, Mo., and two sisters-in-law, Sister Donna Fischer, SSND, of St. Louis, Mo., and Sue Weppner of Pacific, Mo; eight nephews, seven nieces, and numerous friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Frieda (Waldorf) Weppner, his son, David Weppner and his brother, Arthur Weppner, and his brother-in-law, Roy Troutman.
