Obituary of Clovine S. Roofener

Clovine S. Roofener, age 86, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Windsor Estate Care Center in Camdenton. Clovine was born August 8, 1923 in Iberia, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Millie (McCubbin) Sidwell. She was united in marriage on May 11, 1941 in Camdenton, to Wallace Roofener who survives. Clovine graduated in 1941 from Camdenton High School. She and her husband Wallace, together raised three children. Clovine was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. Her lifelong interests included genealogy, gardening, playing bridge, quilting and knitting. Clovine valued and nurtured friendships she made from childhood, and relationships throughout her life. Clovine was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of First Baptist Church, Camdenton. Clovine is survived by her loving husband Wallace, of the home; one daughter, Cheryl Beth Olson, of St. Louis, Missouri, two sons, Rance Charles Roofener of Key West, Florida, and John Wallace Roofener, of Urich, Missouri; six grandchildren, Heather Elizabeth, Amanda Rae, Matthew Alan, Sydni Clovine, Alexx Elise, Mackenzie Chance, as well as several other relatives and friends. Clovine was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Ardith Lea McCubbin.
