Obituary of Alberta J. Meeks

Alberta J. (Gramma June) Meeks, age 69, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. She was born December 14, 1940, in Oklahoma, the daughter of Chester and Orpha (Davis) Arnold. Alberta was a homemaker and in her spare time enjoyed reading and playing cards. She loved her cats dearly, but more than anything, she loved her family and spending time them. Alberta is survived by two sons, Bernie Meeks, of Belton, Missouri, and Jerry Meeks, and wife, Chris, of Lone Jack, Missouri; three daughters, Brenda Kellerman, and husband Jim, of Raytown, Missouri, Debbie Mannino, and husband Tony, of Yutan, Nebraska, and Sherri Meeks of Camdenton, Missouri; one brother, Richard (Dick) Arnold and wife Carolyn, of Parkville, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, along with several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Roxie Arnold. Graveside Service/Interment will be Thursday, June 3, 2010, 3:30 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery, Hwy D, Lockwood, MO.
