Obituary of William Neffendorf

William Theodore Neffendorf, age 81, formerly of Macks Creek, Missouri, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2010, at Eden Hill Communities, New Braunfels, Texas. William was born on March 7, 1929, in Fredericksburg, Texas the son of Richard and Frieda (Friedrich) Neffendorf. He was united in marriage to Rubye Lea (Flowers) Neffendorf who preceded him in death and then married to Augusta Mae ( Prettyman) Neffendorf who preceded him in death on May 14, 2007. William is survived by his four sons; William T. Jr., IV and his wife Lannie, Thomas E. and his wife Pam, Wayne P. Starnes and his wife Jill and Richard Starnes; six daughters, Krishna Y. McQueen, Cynthia A. Talley and her husband Charlie, Catherine A. Castornea, Karen G. Rickards and her fianc�e Larry, Karen L. Mudd and her fianc�e Eric, and Sarah E. Bryant and her husband Pat; four brothers, Richard, Lee, Felix and Jame; four sisters, Laura Gerloff, Vera Hertel, Bernice Dryden and Louise Smith; one sister-in-law, Mary C. Eidson; thirty-eight grandchildren; fifty-nine great-grandchildren, plus four to be delivered, along with many other relatives and friends. William was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and he was a great teacher who taught his kids the true values of life. He enjoyed visiting and spending time with his family. His passions were welding, fishing and hunting and one of his favorite pastimes was driving around Chapel Bluff road. He started shearing sheep and later worked 30 years for Zachary; he missed the guys and visited with them every chance he got. Personal thanks to my friends Haus and Staff at unit 6 Eden Hill.
