Obituary of Arthur Sandifer

Arthur L. Sandifer, age 67, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, June 15, 2010, in Columbia, Missouri. He was born August 22, 1942, in Newburg, Missouri, the son of Arthur and Jane (Brinkley) Sandifer. Arthur was preceded in death by his brother Ronnie Sandifer. Survivors include his daughters, Michelle Landers, and husband, Ray, of California and Nicole Wilson, and husband, Steve, of California; three grandchildren, Devin and Dylan Landis and Dane Wilson; his sisters, Debra Hicks and husband, Kenny, and Donna Roye and husband, Kenneth; one brother, John Tucker and wife, Wanda; four nieces, Gwenda Stanley, Mellissa Tucker, Mrya and Naomi Roye; three nephews, Delton and Lisa Jones, John H. Tucker, II, and Garrett and Robin Hicks; great nieces and nephews include Justin and Kirstin Stoufer, Sheldon Stoufer, Anna and Dale VonSande, John H. Tucker, III, Jessica Howard, Haley Hoopingainer, Alyssa Jones, Corbin Hicks, Kaitlyn and Alyson VonSande, and Kade Stoufer. Arthur was also survived by his former wife, Clemenica Sandifer and dearest friend, Walter Hopson. Arthur was a great hairstylist with a successful salon for over 20 years. He had a passion for all things fast! He loved race cars, dune buggies, and motorcycles. You could always find him tinkering under the hood of his car. He adored his children and filled his walls with photographs. He had a great sense of humor and made funny Donald Duck voices to his grandchildren. He relished the simple things of life, like a cup of coffee and a delicious bowl of ice cream. He could always make you smile and laugh. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a dear friend. We will always celebrate his life and will always remember his smiling face. He will truly be missed.
