Obituary of Robert B. Poole

Robert B. Poole, age 89, of Lake Ozark, Missouri passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born on September 8, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, a son of Benjamin and Lois (Rutan) Poole. Robert worked for Illinois Bell as a trouble shooter. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in WWII, and a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Osage Beach. He enjoyed flowers, playing the piano and listening to music, and loved spending time with his family. Robert is survived by one son; Randal Poole, and wife, Erin, of Carol Stream, Illinois; three daughters, Laura Hefron, and husband, Kevin, of Elgin, Illinois, Roberta Vanek, and husband, Jack, of Chicago, Illinoisand Susan Terriault, and husband, Bill, of Illinois; one step-son, Robert Schefer, and wife, Nancy, of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; two step-daughters, Debra Lang, of Chicago, Illinois,and Donna Pope, and husband, Kevin, of Muskego, Wisconsin; one sister, Mary Kathryn Hanson, of Downers Grove, Illionis; son-in-law, Gary Stull, of Reed Springs, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter, Kathryn Stull.
