Obituary of Raymond D. Bechtel

Raymond Delbert Bechtel Sr., age 83, of Humansville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Big Springs Care, Humansville, Missouri. Raymond was born November 23, 1926, in Des Moines, Iowa, a son to Virgil and Mary Ann Bechtel. Raymond spent the majority of his working career doing carpenter work in many different areas; he delivered coke products in the Des Moines area where he was also a minister with the Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on race cars and taking care of cemeteries in the area. Raymond is survived by his daughters, Reka Ann Bechtel and Elizabeth Marie Bechtel, both of Kansas City, Kansas; two sons, Delbert Bechtel, and Virgil Bechtel and his companion Melissa Gatewood, both of Hermitage, Missouri, and seven grandchildren.
