Obituary of Mary Frances von Gremp

Mary Frances von Gremp, 84, went to be with the Lord, Friday, July 23, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Arkansas. Mary was born on May 30, 1926, in Fulton, Missouri, to James G. and Anna E. Messersmith. After graduating from Linn Creek High School as valedictorian, she worked on the clerical staff at the Missouri House of Representatives in Jefferson City and later in St. Louis. Mary returned to the Lake of the Ozarks area where she was a homemaker and secretary at Camdenton High School. In 2006 after the death of Jim E. von Gremp, her husband of sixty years, Mary moved to Rogers, Arkansas, where she lived until her death. She is survived by two sons, Jim von Gremp and wife, Susan, of Rogers, Arkansas; Andy von Gremp and wife, Traci, of Rogers; two daughters, Marianne Kelly and husband, Bob, of Liberty, Missouri; and Susan von Gremp Samuelson, of Rogers. Grandchildren include Megan and Monty Morgan, Dr. Alan and Julie von Gremp, Eric von Gremp, Faith von Gremp, and Jenny and Jason DeMent, all of Rogers, Arkansas. Steve and Katy Kelly of Kansas City, Missouri,Susanne Kelly McDonald of Liberty, Missouri,Dru and Ashley Samuelson of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, and Nick von Gremp of New York City, New York. Five Great-Grandchildren, Madeline Morgan, Mary Katherine Morgan, Laine McDonald, Will von Gremp and Jace DeMent.
