Obituary of Joe T Spradling

Joe T. Spradling, age 82, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2010 at Eldon Nursing Home, Eldon, Missouri. He was born on April 10, 1928 in Muse, Oklahoma. Joe was born a deaf mute and attended the Oklahoma School for the Deaf in Sulfur, Oklahoma and graduated in 1949. He was a cabinet maker and carpenter by trade. Joe is survived by his son Tom and wife Cheri of Camdenton, Missouri; two grandsons, Bryce Spradling and wife Stephanie of Olathe, Kansas, and Austin Spradling of Mission, Kansas; a sister, Lois Rone of Alaska, and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Joe even though a deaf mute had great communication skills. He had an infectious personality that would light up a room and was loved by many who got to know him. He was a fine athlete and excelled in basketball, swimming and football while in high school. Joe enjoyed the outdoors, watching NASCAR, Sooner Football and flirting with the ladies. The family would like to express its appreciation and gratitude to the wonderful people at Eldon Nursing, Hospice of Lebanon and Windsor Estates for the care and love given to Joe over the last few years. It was often said �Everyone loves Joe�. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Lebanon
