Obituary of Delma Lou Dirks

Delma Lou (Tate) Ecton Dirks, age 53, of Kaiser, Missouri, was born October 27, 1957 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Delmar G. and Mary Lou (Conover) Tate. She departed this life on November 28, 2010 at her home in Kaiser. Delma is survived by her life partner and best friend, Rod Dirks. She also leaves behind her children; a son, Kris Elley of Sullivan, Missouri; daughter Kendra Lou Dirks and her children, Krista Ecton, of Kaiser, Missouri, Brooklyn and Preston James of Versailles, Missouri; a son Josh Ecton of Holt�s Summit, Missouri; brother Tim Tate and his family of Clarksburg, Missouri; brother Vernon�s family of Colorado; other family members in Steelville, Missouri, along with many, many friends and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Vernon, an infant sister, Verna Sue, and a son, Mike Ecton. In the early years of her life, Delma moved many times with her family, as her father was in the military. Upon his retirement, the family moved to Clarksburg, Missouri and Delma attended and graduated from Tipton High School in 1977. For the past ten years Delma, Rod and her children have resided in the Lake of the Ozarks area. She enjoyed hunting with Rod and shopping with her girls. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She�s gone home to Heaven.
