Obituary of Katie L. Estrada

Katie L. Estrada, age 76, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 18, 2011 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. Katie was born March 15, 1935 in Mobile, Alabama the daughter of Needham and Bessie Mae (Byrd) Reed. Katie was a nurse and had worked in various hospitals through the years. She loved shopping and enjoyed sewing. She also loved playing and singing music and was in a band called the Country Gospel Singers. More than anything she loved her family dearly and enjoyed making memories with them. She is survived by one daughter; Wanda Jean Reed, of Chico, California; four sons, David Olegario of Woodland, California, Jim Brown of Sacramento, California, Paul Brown of Niland, California, and Ronnie Brown of LeForce, Texas; two sisters, Eleanor Slawson of Osage Beach, Missouri, and Harriet Kelley of Woodland, California; fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, along with several other relatives and friends. Katie was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters.
