Obituary of Wilda Irene Stoufer

Wilda Irene (Reaves) Stoufer, age 86, of Macks Creek, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Care Center, Osage Beach, Missouri. Wilda was born June 18, 1925, in Sagrady, Missouri, the daughter of Albert and Hazel (Findley) Reaves. Wilda was united in marriage to Sherman Stoufer, July 12, 1943 in Sedalia, Missouri, and to this union they had one son, Gary Stoufer. Wilda never worked outside the home. She was a loving mother and devoted wife and helpmate to her husband Sherman. She supported him in his ministries at the Old Time Missionary Baptist Church. She was always proud to be a preacher�s wife, and was very active and involved in their church. She enjoyed going for walks, cooking, reading, writing, music, and her family. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known to her grandchildren as �Granny Irene� Wilda is survived by her granddaughter Stacy Boone and husband, Daniel, and their children, Daniel, Evyn and Zack of Macks Creek, Missouri; her grandson Lee Stoufer and wife, Misty, and their son Mason, of Osage Beach, Missouri; her granddaughter Kelly Nockunas and husband, Andy, and their children, Dalton, Paige and Shane of Montreal Missouri along with numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Sherman in 1984, and her son Gary in 2003.
