Obituary of Charles Robert Diebold

Charles Robert (Bob) Diebold, age 80 years and 15 days, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born October 25, 1931 in Perkins, Missouri. Bob was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Lake Ozark. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theon and Mary Diebold of Perkins, Missouri; a brother Elmer Diebold; and one sister Norma Diebold. Survivors include his wife, Doris Diebold of the home, and their three sons, Chuck and his wife, Lauri Diebold of Lake Ozark, Mike Diebold of Osage Beach, and Scott and his wife, Anna Diebold of Eldon, Missouri. One brother, Roy Diebold and wife of Quito, Ecuador; and two sisters, Gladys Moore of Bradenton, Florida, and Doris and her husband, Bob Johnston of Sante Fe, New Mexico. Nine Grandchildren, Marc and his wife, Ashley Diebold of Eldon, Christy, Nick, Phil, Crystal and Kyle Diebold, and Stevie, Ethan and Ashton Butler. Two Great Grandsons, Logan Diebold and Isaiah McGuire. And his beloved Peanut. Bob was an avid fisherman, enjoyed the business he owns, selling authentic Indian Jewelry, and meeting people. Bob had several friends that helped him so much through his illness, Sub, Clara, Donna, Faith, Rachel and Chris.
