Obituary of Donna Kay Miller

Donna Kay Miller, age 59, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life on Sunday, December 25, 2011 as a result of an automobile accident. Donna was born January 8, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Ralph and Martha (Swearingin) Newton. Donna owned and operated her own daycare center. She loved thrift store shopping, snow skiing and motorcycle racing. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing volleyball and softball. Donna is survived by her son, M. Wayne Hughes, Jr. of Camdenton, Missouri; two daughters, Angela Stephens of Sunrise Beach, Missouri and Tomara Deckard of Camdenton, Missouri; her mother, Martha Britt of Camdenton, Missouri; three brothers, Jerry Newton and wife, Loretta, of Independence, Missouri, Tim Newton and Tracy Newton of Carrollton, Missouri; eight sisters, Charlotte Blakely and husband, Ralph, of Chillicothe, Missouri; Esther Daugherty of Camdenton, Missouri, Wanda Cardona of Independence, Missouri; Diana Haynie of Blue Springs, Missouri, Letitia Canfield of Marshall, Missouri; April Butner of Marshall, Missouri, Genendal Newton of Slater, Missouri, and Tammy Newton of Independence, Missouri; seven grandchildren; Brianna McIntyre, Wayne Hughes, Janissa Stephens, Brent Bias, Michael Downing, Brody Deckard, and Ella Carnahan; as well as several other relatives and friends, and her beloved dog, Miss Wiggles. She was preceded in death her father and one grandson, Kessler Deckard.
