Obituary of Mary Frances Bales

Mary Frances Bales, age 86, of Osage Beach, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at her home in Osage Beach. Mary was born December 10, 1925 in Mexico, Missouri the daughter of Frank and Clare (Anderson) Bishop. She was united in marriage to William Bales on February 26, 1947, who preceded her in death February 17, 1985. Mary attended Montgomery High School in Montgomery City, Missouri. She was a member of Lake Ozark Christian Church and was a Lady Elk with the Largo, Florida Elks Lodge. Mary worked in the business office at Lake Regional Health System and later volunteered as an Auxiliary Member. She was a former resident of St. Peters, Missouri, working at St. Charles Orthopedic Group, in the business office. She enjoyed playing bridge, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mary is survived by two daughters, Christine Noyer and husband, Jack, of Eldon, Missouri; Cynthia Landrum and her husband, Erik, of St. Peters, Missouri; and step-daughter Linda Bales Terry of Corona, California; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, as well as several other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William, and step-daughter Patty Bales Griffin.
