Obituary of Charles Oliver Rogers
Charles Oliver Rogers, age 77, of Roach, Missouri died Monday, May 28, 2012 at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Charles was born October 1, 1934 in Dove, Missouri, the son of Oras and Bertha (Hemphill) Rogers.
Charles served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing and reading. He attended the Lower Prairie Hollow Baptist Church.
Charles is survived by his wife, Rosemary Rogers of the home; three sons, Charles Douglas Rogers and his wife, Vanda, of Camdenton, Missouri, Clifton Duane Rogers and his wife, Jenny, of Macks Creek, Missouri and Calvin Dale Rogers of Roach, Missouri; one daughter, Carla D�Ann Henderson and her husband, David, of Lebanon, Missouri; three brothers, Carl F. Rogers and his wife, Mildred, of Camdenton, Ronnie E. Rogers and Roger S. Rogers, both of Linn Creek, Missouri; six sisters, Bernice Wood and her husband, Ralph, of Eldon, Missouri, Shirley Yardley of Kaiser, Missouri, Patsy Wyrick and husband, Albert, of Cole Camp, Missouri, Coalene Smyth of Kaiser, Missouri, Norma Rogers McConnell and husband, David, of Macks Creek, Missouri and Bonnie Bachtel and husband, Robert, of Montreal, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren and twenty eight great-grandchildren, as well as several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Ollie Eileen Rogers, Delores June Hutchens, and Jane Bruscher; four grandchildren, Charles Lee Rogers, Melissa Rogers, Jeremy Rogers, and James Rogers, and two great-grandchildren, Dakota Nations and Seth Johnson.
