Obituary of Dolores I. Dobbs

Dolores I. Dobbs, age 76, of Kaiser, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Lake Meadows Care Center in Osage Beach, Missouri. Dolores was born March 4, 1936 in Watseka, Illinois, the daughter of William and Evelyn Hoover. Dolores was united in marriage on November 10, 1961 in Alton, Illinois to Tracy Dobbs. Dolores was a convenience store manager first at Zip Stop, then at Rapid Roberts, both in Osage Beach. She loved working, feeding the deer in her back yard, fishing and boating. More than anything, she loved her family dearly, and enjoyed making memories with them. She is survived by her husband of nearly fifty years, Tracy, of the home; two sons, Kriss T. Dobbs, of Iberia, Missouri, and Scott I. Dobbs and wife, Lisa, of Kaiser, Missouri; three daughters, Cheryl Glassey and husband, John, of Orlando, Florida, Linda Travis of Pekin, Illinois, and Penny Dobbs of St. Louis, Missouri; her father Bill Hoover of Watseka, Illinois; one brother, Billy Hoover of Watseka, Illinois; one sister, Florence Lober of Cissna Park, Illinois; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dolores was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Hoover.
