Obituary of Mildred Mefford

Mildred Mefford, age 98, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life Monday, October 29, 2012 at Ozark Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage Beach, Missouri. Mildred was born May 6, 1914 in Noble, Missouri, the daughter of John and Lyddia Pyland Feemster. Mildred was united in marriage June 14, 1931 in Romance, Missouri, to Troy Mefford who preceded her in death in 1989. Mildred was a devoted wife and helpmate to her husband Troy, and a loving and caring mother to her children. She enjoyed her role as homemaker and helped create many special memories for her family and friends. Among several hobbies she enjoyed sewing and was an excellent seamstress. Mildred was also fond of dancing and traveling. She was a member of Camdenton United Methodist Church, and in previous years, sang in the gospel choir there. More than anything, Mildred loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Mildred is survived by her two daughters, Naomi Euler and husband, Larry, of Camdenton, Missouri and Yolanda Butler and husband, George, of Camdenton, Missouri; six grandchildren, Leah K. Green and husband, Dan; Garry Euler and wife Connie; Andrew Euler and wife Katy; Lydia Briscoe and husband, Alan; Lynetta Smith and husband, Billy Dean; and Danny Butler; seventeen great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Edward Mefford and Paul Mefford; several nieces and nephews and friends. Besides her husband, Mildred was preceded in death by five brothers, three sisters and one grandson, Daniel Euler.
