Obituary of Donald M. Crowley

Donald M. Crowley, of Osage Beach, Missouri, born March 29, 1917, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Hazel J. Crowley. He is survived by his 5 children; daughters, Linda Puppe of Osage Beach, Jane (Timothy) Taggart of Hershey, PA, Susan (Ed) Berns of St. Louis, MO.; sons, Dennis (Marie) Crowley of Osage Beach, and Timothy (Robin) Crowley of Philadelphia, PA.; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Donald was an aeronautical engineer graduated from the University of Minnesota. He applied his education for his entire career at TWA. He was in flight operations training for the majority of his career. He spent two years in Saudia Arabia with Saudia Airlines before retiring to the Virgin Islands. There he and his wife lived in and sailed a 44 foot Caribbean Sailing Yacht. Sailing was the love of his life next to watching his children play. Then they traveled the united states in a 5th wheel for 5 years. They settled in Sun City, Arizona. This is where he started his next career, computers. He started with Dos and ended up writing 7 books about computer training during the next 20 years. His love for the Lord sustained him during his entire life. He was a great example of faith to his family.
