Obituary of Doris Nelson

Doris Nelson, age 76, of Roach, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Doris was born February 27, 1936 in Hamilton, Missouri, the daughter of Hugh and Hazel (Pausey) Tritt. Doris was united in marriage February 18, 1956 in Hamilton, Missouri to Lee Nelson and together they had shared 56 years of marriage until her death. Doris was a devoted wife and helpmate to her husband Lee and a loving and caring mother to her children. She enjoyed her role as homemaker and created many beautiful memories for her family and friends. Doris was member of Camdenton United Methodist Church where she served on the church council and memorial committee. She was also active in the Methodist Women�s organization. Among her many activities, Doris enjoyed boating, fishing, spending time on the lake, and playing golf with the Dogwood Women�s Golf League. Although Doris was involved in many things, her priorities were her family and church. Doris is survived by her loving husband Lee, of the home; one son, Eric Nelson of Camdenton, Missouri; one daughter, Lori B. Blacksher and husband, Scott, of Lake Ozark, Missouri; one granddaughter, Ana Blacksher; sister-in-law Jayne Tritt of Robbinsville, New Jersey; niece Jackie Bartl and husband, Lee, of Santa Rosa, California; nephew Francis Gaume and wife, Diane, of St. Joseph, Missouri; nephew Gary Tritt of Santa Cruz, California; and nephew Greg Tritt of Oak Harbor, Washington. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and one sister.
