Obituary of Robert L. McQuirk

Robert L. McQuirk, age 88, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care in Osage Beach, Missouri. Robert was born November 4, 1924 in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Lawrence and Rose (Hacker) McQuirk. He was united in marriage July 24, 1948 in Sioux City, Iowa to Lorna Rickman, and together they had shared the past 64 years of marriage until his death. Robert served his country proudly in the United States Navy and later worked in the consumer products market as a sales manager. Robert is survived by his loving wife Lorna, of the home; one son Ken McQuirk and wife, Martha, of St. Louis, Missouri; three daughters, Merrilleen Wilcox of Ithaca, New York, Lynn Ingram and husband, Chuck, of St. Louis, Missouri and Loretta Nevins and husband, Howard, of St. Louis, Missouri; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; along with several other relatives and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; and six sisters. Private family services were held Thursday, at St. Anthony�s Catholic Church in Camdenton, Missouri.
