Obituary of Betty Fryer Hagadorn

Betty Fryer Hagadorn, age 89, of Osage Beach, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Osage Beach, Missouri Betty was born March 11, 1923 in Ludlow, Missouri, the daughter of S. Claude and Susie Dusenberry Fryer. She attended school in Mooresville, Missouri, graduating in 1940. She attended Kansas City Business College and was employed in the Kansas City area. She was united in marriage December 28, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri to Allan G �Bill� Hagadorn who preceded her in death on July 23, 2006. They made their home at Lake of the Ozarks where they owned and operated Kirkwood Lodge in Osage Beach. She was a championship golfer thru the 1970�s and 80�s, both at local country clubs and also in the state of California where they would spend their winters. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and an avid genealogist. She researched and wrote a family genealogy which is located in the Missouri Historical Society Library, and University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri. Betty is survived by a brother, Claude Fryer, Jr., of Atlanta, Georgia, and several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Florence Fryer of Columbia, Missouri, and brother-in-law, Dr. J.L. Hagadorn and family of Newport Beach, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, S. Claud and Susie Fryer; her husband, Allan �Bill� Hagadorn; her sister, Eloise Lyons; and three brothers, James Marshall Fryer, Donald Hugh Fryer, and Michael Ray Fryer.
