Obituary of Bertha Marie Kinney

Bertha Marie Kinney, age 81, lifelong resident of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life Friday, December 28, 2012 at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Osage Beach, Missouri. Bertha was born October 7, 1931 in Camdenton, Missouri, the daughter of Fritz and Zella (Rucker) Webster. Bertha was united in marriage August 12, 1947 in Camdenton, to Carrol Wilbur �CW� Kinney. Bertha and CW shared 62 years of marriage until his death on March 16, 2010. Bertha and CW had five children. Bertha was a loving and devoted wife and helpmate to her husband CW, and a caring mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed her role as homemaker and created many beautiful memories for her family and friends. Bertha enjoyed gardening and was an active volunteer in several community organizations including the Lamb House of Camdenton for over thirty years, and the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Camdenton. Bertha was a member of First Baptist Church, Camdenton where she was active in several various groups. Bertha is survived by two sons; Hurley Kinney and wife, Stacey, of Eldon, Missouri, and Richard Kinney and wife, Mary, of Macks Creek, Missouri; one daughter, Carol Kinney of Kansas City, Kansas; two brothers, Sam Webster and wife, Jerri, of Marshfield, Missouri and Fred Webster of Grove Springs, Missouri; three sisters, Norma Meeks of Camdenton, Missouri, Daisy Bell and husband, Eugene, of Camdenton, Missouri and Pagie Morrison and husband, Bill, of Grand Prairie, Texas; five grandchildren, Billy Kinney, Kelly Kinney, Becky Kinney, Jesse Kinney and Kyle Kinney; several nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends. Bertha was preceded in death by her parents Fritz and Zella Webster; her husband CW Kinney; two sons, Jon Kinney and Dirk Kinney; two brothers, Leo Webster and Emmett Webster; and three sisters, Syble Cullen, Mary McGuire, and Elizabeth Walker.
