Obituary of James E. Davis

James E. Davis, age 59, of Brumley, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, December 31, 2012 at his residence in Brumley. James was born May 19, 1953 in Waynesville, Missouri, the son of Arthur James and Patricia (Johnson) Davis. James was united in marriage November 21, 2008 in Camdenton, Missouri to Barbara Urban. James worked as an auto mechanic the majority of his life. He loved cars and enjoyed working on them in his spare time. James was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed the time he spent hunting and fishing. Among his other hobbies, James was also a motorcycle enthusiast. James is survived by his wife Barbara, of the home; nine sons, Kevin Davis, James Davis, Michael Davis, Joseph Davis, Jason Davis, John Urban, Matthew Urban, Larry Davis, and James R. Mitchell; two daughters, Jessica Davis, and Marissa Grimes; his mother, Patricia Prater; two brothers, Randell Davis, and David Davis; two sisters, Sandra Head and Jeannette; one uncle, Paul Donaldson; four grandchildren, Breanna Urban, Madison Urban, Garrett Urban and Kayden Shuck; along with several other relatives and friends. James was preceded in death by his father, Arthur James Davis.
