Obituary of James Gary Wilson

James Gary Wilson, age 72, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, departed this life on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at his residence in Lake Ozark. James was born March 29, 1940 in East St. Louis, Illinois, the son of William Jennings and Maxine Clair (Taylor) Wilson. James served our country proudly in the United States Air Force. He later worked in real estate sales in the lake area and was a member of the Bagnell Dam Real Estate Association from 1994-2006. He most recently worked in sales at Home Depot in Osage Beach, from 2006-2012. James was a 50 year member of the Elks Lodge in Osage Beach. James is survived by his wife Retha, of the home; his son William Wilson and wife, Kindra, of Overland Park, Kansas; his daughter Gabrielle Lynn Wilson of Lake Ozark, Missouri; one sister, Billie June Reed of Thousand Oaks, California; three grandchildren, Jacob Reed Wilson, Garrett Cole Wilson and Grant Mitchell Wilson along with several other relatives and friends. James was preceded in death by his brother Robert Wilson, a sister-in-law Vera Wilson, and brother-in-law James Reed. Private family services will be held at a later date.
