Obituary of Vonda M. Goza

Vonda M. Goza, age 78, of Eldon, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Eldon Care Center in Eldon, Missouri. Vonda was born August 24, 1934 in Lake City, Arkansas, the daughter of Porter and Lillian (Varner) Cooper. Vonda was married on May 16, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri to Edward (Ed) Goza. Vonda was employed as a data processor for 19 years with Parkway School District in St. Louis. She later worked 7 years for MODOT before retiring. Vonda was a charter member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Lake Ozark, Missouri. She was also a founding member of the Mid- Mo Studebaker Drivers Club. More than anything, Vonda loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. Vonda is survived by her husband of almost 60 years Ed Goza of the home; two sons, Jerry Goza and wife Joann, of Potosi, Missouri, and Craig Goza and wife, Tracy, of Ellisville, Missouri; one daughter, Theresa Ellison and husband, William, of Ballwin, Missouri; one brother, Bob Cooper and wife, Ruth, of Groveland, Florida; seven grandchildren, five great- grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Jean Ziegler.
