Obituary of Michael Anthony Plemmons

Michael Anthony Plemmons departed this life on Wednesday, January 22, 2013 at Lake Regional Hospital. Mike was born on March 4, 1959 in Crocker, Missouri to Clay and Nellie (Hodge) Plemmons. Plem, as he was known by his coworkers, was a Water Specialist for the Department of Natural Resources at Lake of the Ozarks State Park, which was a job he enjoyed for the last few decades of his life. He was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and spent many hours in the shop working on his trucks and motorcycles, which are hobbies he shared with his son Chanley. In addition to his son Chanley Plemmons of the home, Michael was survived by a daughter Tara (Plemmons) Orozco and husband Tom, and grandchildren Paylyn Plemmons, Keira Allen, Korinne Allen, Kallie Orozco, and Mitchell Orozco. Michael was the youngest of nine children, seven of whom survive him: sisters Vicki Williams, Glenda Kehr, and Yolanda Mims, and brothers Jackie, Jimmy, Mark, and Gregory. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Johnny Plemmons.
