Obituary of Charles David Orcutt
Charles David Orcutt, age 66, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at his home in Lake Ozark.
Charles was born May 14, 1946 in Springfield, Missouri and attended elementary school there. After completing high school at Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, Missouri, Charles graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Drury College in Springfield. He subsequently joined the U. S. Army, and was stationed in Ft. Leonard Wood, prior to receiving an honorable discharge.
He married Alice Jane Meeks, of Lake Ozark, Missouri in 1972, and worked for many years as a Jeweler at Duncan II Jewelry in Osage Beach, prior to his retirement in 2011. He was a gun collector, enjoyed restoring antique cars, and boating activities.
He is predeceased by his parents, David M. (Buck) and Dorothy Orcutt; his wife, Alice Jane; and his son, Michael. Charles is survived by two sons, Jeremy D. Orcutt, of Elko, Nevada and David M.Orcutt, Jr., of Lake Ozark; and a sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Mike Diffenderffer, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
