Obituary of Elizabeth Olson

Elizabeth �Bette� Olson, age 92, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Ozark Care Center in Osage Beach, Missouri. Bette was born January 23, 1921 in Shellsburg, Iowa, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Schmid hams) Bergen. Bette was united in marriage to Arlie Olson, August 17, 1947 in Shellsburg, Iowa, who preceded her in death March 12, 1997. Bette and Arlie owned and operated Lake Lawn Lodge and Resort in Osage Beach. They enjoyed traveling together especially going to Florida. Bette was a loving and giving person who touched all those who came in contact with her. More than anything, Bette�s heart was her home and family. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Osage Beach. Bette is survived by her son-in- law Larry Aldridge and his wife, Nancy, of Topeka, Kansas; two grandchildren, Brandon Aldridge and his wife, Erin, and Ashley Rodgers and her husband, Justin; four great- grandchildren; four brothers, Harold, Adrith, Marvin, and James; along with several other relatives and friends. Bette was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Anna Bergen; her husband, Arlie; and her daughter, Debora Aldridge on May 30, 2010.
