Obituary of Dorothy Bradbury

Dorothy �Dottie� Bradbury, age 84, departed this life on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri. She was born October 25, 1928 in St Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Frank and Ethel Lozen. She graduated from Laboure Catholic High School in St Louis, Missouri. Dorothy was married on November 17, 1956, in Rolla Missouri to Bob G. Bradbury, and together they shared 56 years of marriage at the time of her death. Dottie held a Masters Degree in the local chapter Beta Psi of the National Organization of Beta Sigma Phi. During her more than 25 years of membership, she served on several committees, held several officer positions, including that of President, and attained Lifetime Membership. Dottie was an active member and past President of the Business and Professional Women�s Club in Waynesville, Missouri. In 1987, Dottie retired from her position as Administrative Officer, Inpatient and Ancillary Support Branch at the Ft. Leonard Wood Army Hospital, after 30 years of service in the government of the United States of America. Dottie loved to bowl and traveled nationally to amateur bowling tournaments. Dottie was a loving wife, devoted mother, and grandmother. She was a dedicated and loyal friend. Dottie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ethel Lozen and brother Frank Lozen. Surviving are her husband Bob Bradbury; daughter Deborah Popp and husband, Tom, of Lee�s Summit, Missouri; grandson Alexander Popp of Overland Park, Kansas; sister Fran Reisinger and husband, John, of O�Fallon, Missouri; cousin Sr. Isabelle Walsh, C.PP.S; sister-in-law Ginny Lozen of Arnold, Missouri; nephew Michael Lozen and wife Cathy of Barnhart, Missouri; niece Susan Stahl and husband Al of Arnold, Missouri, along with other relatives and friends.
