Obituary of Bobby M. Roofener

Bobby M. Roofener, age 80, of Roach, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Bobby was born July 18, 1932 in Eldridge, Missouri, the son of Corbyt and Oma (Osborn) Roofener. He was united in marriage to Beverly Faye Smith in 1965 and together they shared 42 years of marriage until her death in 2007. Bobby served his country proudly in both the United States Army and United States Air Force. Bobby worked as a swing stage painter and in his spare time enjoyed gardening and being a grandfather. Bobby is survived by one son, R. Eric Roofener of Roach, Missouri; two step-sons, Doug Moncrief of Nevada and Mike DeLash of Portland, Oregon; one granddaughter, Hannah M. Roofener; along with several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly; his parents Corbyt and Oma Roofener; four brothers, Bill, James, Wilbur, and Willard; and three sisters, Delores Roofener, Noly Webster, and Alice Marshall.
