Obituary of John Franklin Bush

John Franklin Bush, age 54, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. John was born March 16, 1958 in Waynesville, Missouri, the son of Ira �Pete� and Ruby (Frederick) Bush. He was united in marriage on August 4, 2001 in Camdenton to Joyce Tournear, and together they shared 11 years of marriage until his death. John graduated from Camdenton High School in 1976. He went on to obtain his undergraduate degree from Columbia College and earned his Master�s Degree from SBU in 2002. He was a teacher with the Camdenton School District for over 10 years. John loved working with the students at Horizons. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to motivational speakers and loved listening to music of all kinds, especially country, gospel and bluegrass. John is survived by his loving wife, Joyce, of the home; one son, Zach Tournear and wife, Kelsey of Brumley, Missouri; one daughter, Erika Porth and husband, Tyler, of New York, New York; two brothers, Terry Bush and Larry Bush, both of Camdenton, Missouri; one sister, Nancy Sue Bush of Portland, Oregon; two grandchildren, Gage and Chase Tournear of Brumley, Missouri; his mother Ruby Bush of Montreal, Missouri; several aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ira �Pete� Bush.
