Obituary of Milo Masten Burris

Milo Masten Burris, age 89, of Brumley, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, March 18, 2013 at his home, surrounded by family. Milo was born August 29, 1923 in Tuscumbia, Missouri, to the late Charles and Lura (Workman) Burris. Milo was united in marriage August 29, 1943 to Wilma Faye Huddleston who survives of the home. Milo was a WWII veteran, serving in the 92nd Chemical Battalion from 1942 to 1945. He was a skilled carpenter and later enjoyed working on his farm. He was a deacon at the New Hope Baptist Church in Kaiser, Missouri. He was also a member of the Eldon V.F.W. Milo is also survived by three children Charlie Burris and wife Linda of Brumley, Missouri, Judy White and companion Tim Truitt of Lake Ozark, Missouri, and Dennis Burris of Olean, Missouri; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren along with several other relatives and friends. Milo was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; four sisters; one son, Milo Burris Jr.; one granddaughter; a daughter-in-law; and son-in-law.
