Obituary of Bill J. Gallea

Bill J. Gallea, age 69, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, went to be with the angels, Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Bill was born March 5, 1944 in Sayer, Oklahoma, the son of Wilbur "Bill" and O'Leta (Hopkins) Gallea. He was united in marriage July 13, 1991 to Cheryl "Joan" Fowler and together they shared 21 years of loving companionship in their marriage. Bill loved to fish, and loved being out on the water. He enjoyed many outdoor activities. He hated to be cooped up indoors.He always had family around him. He was "Dad" to everyone. His greatest joy was watching his children and grandchildren, and teaching them all to fish and enjoy the outdoors as much as he did. He had a great sense of humor, and could take a good ribbing as well as he could give one. He was a great man who always thought of others before himself. Bill is survived by his loving wife Cheryl "Joan" Gallea of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; his son Bill (Michelle) Gallea of Springfield, Missouri; daughters Tami (Bryan) Peterson of Olympia, Washington, Toni Perryman of Auburn, Washington, and Shanna (Josh) Hoyt-Siler of Chehalis, Washington, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and everyone who called him Dad. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him
