Obituary of Freda Willis

Freda Willis, age 90, of Sedalia, Missouri, formerly Macks Creek, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center, Sedalia, Missouri. Freda was born November 14, 1922 in Macks Creek, Missouri, the daughter of Henry and Ethel (Meads) Eidson. Freda was baptized at an early age at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Macks Creek, Missouri in 1931. Freda was united in marriage December 31, 1941 in Buffalo, Missouri to William Willis who preceded her death. Freda was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed being a homemaker and loved working in her garden. Freda enjoyed visiting with her neighbors and friends, and she loved her church. More than anything, Freda loved her family dearly. Freda is survived by two sons; William F. Willis and wife, Karen, of Sullivan, Missouri and Carl Willis and wife Karen, of Fair Grove, Missouri; one daughter, Patsy Bowser of Sedalia, Missouri; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William; her son-in-law Eddie and her daughter-in-law Kathy.
