Obituary of Daniel Jon Morawitz

Daniel Jon Morawitz, age 71, of Linn Creek, Missouri, departed this life Monday, April 29, 2013 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Daniel was born June 27, 1941 in Center, Missouri, the son of Edward and Nadine (Riley) Morawitz. Daniel was a self�employed CPA. He loved to fish the Salt River, read, and play Bridge. Dan was a big St. Louis Cardinals fan, along with other sports- of all kinds. His greatest joy came from his family and holding his grandchildren. Daniel is survived by his wife Barbara; sons, Kevin (Lissa), and Mike (Erin); daughter, Susan McNamara (Tina); three grandchildren, Reagan, Maggie and Tommy; and sister, Jane Yates. His in-laws include Kathryn Morawitz, Ron Akers and Susan, and Darryl Berkbuegler, along with other relatives and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Riley; his sister Janice Akers; and brother-in-law Tony Yates.
