Obituary of Roy Clarence Scott

Roy Clarence Scott, age 87, was born January 15, 1926, the son of Clarence and May Russell Scott. He died May 27, 2013 at the Ozark Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Osage Beach, Missouri. Roy was united in marriage on April 22, 1944 to Louise Elizabeth Martin. They had celebrated 69 years together. Roy was born and raised in Camden County. He was saved at Parrack Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of Enon Missionary Baptist Church in Bolivar, Missouri, where he attended up until the day of his stroke, March 4, 2007. Roy was a well driller and loved repairing things in his shop for his neighbors and friends. He also had bee hives, fruit trees and enjoyed gardening. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and May Scott; two sisters; Goldie and Dora; two brothers, Buddy and Archie; one son, Charles; and one grandson, Brent. Roy is survived by his wife Louise; two daughters, Judy Leap and husband Paul, of Macks Creek, Missouri; Violet Howard and husband, Garry, of Preston, Missouri; his sister Eunice, of Macks Creek, Missouri; two brothers, Eddie, of Camdenton, Missouri, and Johnnie, of Dadeville, Missouri; five grandchildren, Stephen, Sherri, Ryan, Amy and Brandon; several great-grand children; one great-great grandchild as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
