Obituary of David Lynn Nations
David Lynn Nations, 58, formerly of Versailles, Missouri, died on June 17, 2013, at his home in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on May 14, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of the late Allen and Delma Lynch Nations.
David graduated from Morgan County RII High School in Versailles and was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
David was manager and co-owner of Wenger�s Farm Equipment Company for 20 years. He was involved with the local Boy Scout Troop 30 and served as Scout Leader. David was very passionate about John Deere equipment/toys and his hobbies included woodworking, coin collecting, camping and canoeing. After he moved to Texas, he owned and operated a car pilot company and enjoyed traveling across the United States.
David is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Nations, of Versailles, and a son, Travis Nations and his wife Jessica, of Tampa, Florida and two grandchildren, Elliott and Andie Nations of Versailles. Other survivors include two sisters, Sandra Nations and Sarah Wilson and one brother, Sam Nations. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Snoda Fields, and a brother, Danny Nations.
