Obituary of Frances I Berger

Frances I. �Fran� Berger, age 78, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, died Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage Beach. Missouri. Fran was born January 21, 1935 in Aurora, Missouri the daughter of Omar Alexander and June (Powell) Palmer. Fran was united in marriage to Henry �Heinie� Berger on October 23, 1954 in Miami, Oklahoma. Together they shared 58 years of marriage until her death. Fran was a devoted wife and helpmate to her husband and a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who created many beautiful memories for her family and friends. After her children were grown, Fran obtained her nursing degree and enjoyed working in the medical field for several years thereafter. Fran was an active member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Ozark, Missouri where she participated in the Wednesday Ladies Group and the Knights of Columbus Ladies. She enjoyed gardening, taking walks and water aerobics. Fran is survived by her husband Henry �Heinie� Berger; six sons, Phil Berger and friend, Kathy, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, Hank Berger and wife Michelle, of Eldon, Missouri, Matt Berger and wife, Carolyn, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, Mike Berger of Lake Ozark, Missouri, Mark Berger of Lake Ozark, Missouri, and Eric Berger and wife, Trudy, of Eldon, Missouri; one sister, Emma June Vaughn of Edmond, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, as well as several other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Omar and June Palmer; and one sister, Mary Ellen Mariner.
